Washers are essential components in threaded fasteners, serving as large bearing surfaces to protect materials from damage during tightening. Typically hidden within designs, they serve a purely functional role. This project introduces a subtle "twist," reimagining the conventional washer by drawing inspiration from the way wood glue is squeezed out during application. The set of children’s stool remains practical while adding a tactile, intuitive element to the assembly process.
